In the video below, Nicole Junkermann, NJF Capital founder, explores the work of Gideon Brothers, an innovative robotics and AI company that unshackles the humans working in industrial workplaces with fully-autonomous robotic solutions.

Sales of warehouse and logistics robots are expected to grow from 194,000 units in 2018 to 938,000 units annually by 2022.

This would bring the market close to the 1.4 million annual sales of forklift trucks.

The value of the logistics robotics market is forecast to grow from $8.3 billion in 2018 to $30.8 billion in 2022.

Gideon Brothers uses AI and robotics to improve the efficiency of logistics centres, converting industrial machines and vehicles into autonomous mobile robots.

The company’s first product is an autonomous transport vehicle, capable of moving up to 800kg of goods, providing a self-driving alternative to conventional forklifts.

‘Automate to grow’ is becoming the central tenant of Industry 4.0

Gideon Brothers is recognised as one of Europe’s rising stars in AI, at a time when AI and logistics are proving to be a perfect match.
